進(jìn)口離心泵是流動(dòng)介質(zhì)（氣體和液體，也可以是懸浮顆粒與氣體或液體的混合物）從葉片轉(zhuǎn)軸根部（）進(jìn)入，介質(zhì)依靠高速轉(zhuǎn)動(dòng)葉片獲得離心力，產(chǎn)生一個(gè)高壓，從泄壓口（出口）流出的介質(zhì)輸送設(shè)備。多級(jí)離心泵是將具有同樣功能的兩個(gè)以上的泵集合在一起，流體通道結(jié)構(gòu)上，表現(xiàn)在 級(jí)的介質(zhì)泄壓口與 級(jí)的相通， 級(jí)的介質(zhì)泄壓口與第三級(jí)的相通，如此串聯(lián)的機(jī)構(gòu)形成了多級(jí)離心泵。多級(jí)離心泵的意義在于提高設(shè)定壓力。
